Project Overview
GameControlCenter grew out of one person's gaming needs and became a Windows console for phone gaming: paired with GameScrcpy mirroring, it plays Android games with a gamepad's dual sticks and a mouse, while handling launch, keymapping profiles, and runtime monitoring in one place. The left stick keeps continuous direction and travel, the right stick drags the camera directly, and gamepad and mouse share the same touch channel.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Platform | Windows x64 |
| Mirroring companion | GameScrcpy v1.3.4 |
| Distribution | Portable ZIP with bundled Python runtime |
| License | MIT |
Gamepad and mouse share one touch channel, and one game position can bind multiple different keys.
Key Features
- One-click setup: automatically launches GameScrcpy, the dual-stick adapter, and key labels, or each component separately
- Status monitoring: phone battery, temperature, and charging state, mirroring and in-game frame rates, connection changes, and anomaly events, with a suspected-stuck warning on window timeout
- Drag-and-drop keymapping: drag keys from a floating toolbar onto the mirrored screen; positions are saved by active aspect ratio, with tunable coverage radius, stick travel, and camera speed
- Four trigger types: hold, single click, auto-repeat click (10 per second by default), and hold-to-aim for directional skills
- Floating window and tray: switch profiles, toggle key labels, and restore auto control from the overlay; closing the main window leaves only the tray
- Connection control: Stop connection exits the input adapter and remembers state; Resume connection or one-click setup re-enables it
- Window memory: the mirroring window position and size are remembered and restored on reconnect, adapting to phone rotation by aspect ratio
- Soft FPS patch: optionally generates a soft-red FPS color variant for the verified GameScrcpy v1.3.4 build
Building Key Profiles
- Create or load a profile under Profile editing and put the phone into a landscape game
- Click Start placing on the mirror, drag keys in from the floating toolbar, and pick trigger type and coverage
- Coverage radius controls the hit circle for free mouse clicks, while stick/aim range adjusts touch travel; the two are independent
- Old files are backed up before saving; switch profiles from the console or the floating window
- The default profile is the "Chaoran Arena - three skills" sample; calibrate positions in a training ground before real matches
Quick Start
- Download
GameControlCenter-0.3.0-windows-x64.zipfrom Releases and extract the whole folder to a writable location; copying a single EXE is not enough - Install GameScrcpy (its folder must contain
adb.exeandscrcpy-server) and PowerShell 7.6.4 or newer as a standalonepwsh.exe - Run
control-center/releases/0.3.0/GameControlCenter.exe; on first run choose the GameScrcpy folder, PowerShell path, and the phone serial or wirelessIP:port - After GameScrcpy starts mirroring, click One-click setup to keep the landscape game in the foreground
- For a desktop entry, run
CreateShortcut.ps1from the root folder in PowerShell 7
System Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| PC | Windows x64 (tested on Windows 10) |
| Mirroring software | GameScrcpy v1.3.4, installed separately |
| PowerShell | 7.6.4 or newer, standalone pwsh.exe |
| Phone | ADB debugging enabled and authorized (tested on a Xiaomi with Android 17) |
| Gamepad | Optional XInput pad; mouse-only works without one |
Notes
- Profile fit: different phone aspect ratios and game layouts may need re-placement; the sample profile is for training-ground calibration
- Pause semantics: manual pause stays paused until you click Restore auto control; gamepad disconnect does not affect mouse control
- Backup tool: AntiMicroX is optional and may double-fire with the main adapter, so running both at once is rarely needed
- Local data: settings live in
control-center/config.jsonand session logs incontrol-center/logs/; nothing is uploaded
