Project Overview
SuperTextToolBox is a free Windows text-processing toolbox that gathers OCR, text-to-speech, word clouds, pinyin, translation, and segmentation — features that often sit behind paywalls or online services — into one offline-first desktop app. It is written in C# / WinForms and assembled from several open-source libraries; everything except translation works offline.

Installation and Upgrade
- On Windows 10 / 11, install with winget:
winget install Buger.SuperTextToolBox - On older systems, install .NET Framework 4 or later (4.8 recommended), then run the installer
- XP supports only .NET Framework 4.0, and OCR plus word clouds are unavailable there
