README
Project Overview
XMUER Coding Engine is developed and maintained by CaelLab as a Scratch editor fork of TurboWarp/scratch-gui. It keeps the block-based Scratch experience while adopting TurboWarp's high-performance runtime, and ships as both an online editor and a Windows desktop client with projects interchangeable between the two.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Upstream | TurboWarp/scratch-gui (ultimately from the Scratch Foundation) |
| Forms | Online editor + Windows desktop client |
| Runtime | TurboWarp enhancements (interpolation, 60 FPS) |
| License | AGPL-3.0-only |
Online and desktop projects are interchangeable, and offline work keeps going.
Key Features
- High-performance runtime: TurboWarp interpolation and 60 FPS enhancements carried over
- XCE Agent assistant: a built-in AI helper that writes blocks and fixes scripts; the desktop version can also read public web pages
- Two interchangeable forms: projects open in both the online editor and the desktop client
- Offline desktop: the Windows installer works without a network connection once installed
Download and Usage
