Project Overview
DPanel is a lightweight visual panel for managing Docker containers, with a Go backend and a React + Ant Design frontend. It runs itself as one container on the Docker host, letting you manage containers, images, Compose and files from a browser — a good command-line replacement for NAS players and self-hosters.
One docker run command installs the panel; manage every container from then on in a browser.
Key Features
- Container management: create, start, stop and inspect logs in the web UI
- Image management: pull and build images directly from the interface
- Compose orchestration: create Compose definitions visually and deploy multi-container apps in one click
- File manager: browse and edit files inside container filesystems
- Domain forwarding & certificates: the standard edition bundles domain forwarding and HTTPS certificate issuance
- Overview dashboard: see host and container status at a glance
- Two editions: the lite edition keeps only container management and frees ports 80/443
- One-click script: fast deployment on Debian, Ubuntu and Alpine
Target Audience
- NAS and home-server players
- Self-hosting developers
- Ops beginners avoiding the CLI
- Users juggling many containers
Quick Start
- Run the
docker runcommand from the README on your Docker host, mountingdocker.sockand a data directory - Open
http://<server-IP>:8807in a browser - Or use the official script
curl -sSL https://dpanel.cc/quick.shfor quick setup - Manage containers, images and Compose apps in the panel
Core Advantages
- Extremely light: it is just one container with a small footprint
- Full coverage: containers, images, Compose and files in one place
- Chinese-friendly: docs and community aimed at Chinese users
