README
Project Overview
Alist Player is the first player for HarmonyOS aimed at ALIST/Openlist, letting users log in with an ALIST account and browse cloud files directly. It uses libmpv as its playback core, supports hardware decoding, and offers list, grid, and waterfall browsing modes. For emby or jellyfin directory structures, it can generate media pages for easy series watching.
Mounts ALIST as a media library to play directly on a HarmonyOS phone.
Key Features
- Multi-server login: sign in with ALIST or Openlist accounts and add or switch servers
- Hardware-decoded playback: libmpv core with hardware decoding and episode selection
- Playback controls: subtitle, audio track, chapter, and playback rate selection
- Multiple views: list, grid, and waterfall modes, with covers shown when present
- Media mode: recognizes emby/jellyfin structures and opens a media interface
- Custom home: images and titles are freely configurable
- Search and history: local and API-index search, with history and favorites that jump to locations
Target Audience
- Users who run cloud drives with ALIST or Openlist
- Users who want to watch cloud media directly on a phone
- HarmonyOS phone or tablet users
- Users who need series management
Quick Start
- Open the AppGallery invite test link in the phone's built-in browser to install
- Launch the app and log in with an ALIST or Openlist account
- Add a server and set a default directory; add more servers to switch anytime
- Browse files, or enable media mode on media folders to watch by series
Core Advantages
- Native HarmonyOS: built for HarmonyOS with an experience that fits the system
- Hardware-decoded playback: the libmpv core brings full decoding and multi-track selection
- Library-style management: recognizes emby/jellyfin structures and builds media pages
- Fast loading: image caching makes pages appear instantly
