Project Overview

Tencent Video Lite is an Electron-based desktop shell that wraps the official Tencent Video web version v.qq.com into a frameless dark window. It targets the official PC client's bulk and heavy promotion: you get the web version's content with a slimmed-down interface and desktop integration. The project performs no reverse engineering, does not capture video streams, and does not bypass DRM, so what plays is exactly what the official web version plays.

• Playback tuning: skips pre-roll ads and removes the player's top-right logo watermark
• Desktop integration: system tray, minimize-to-tray on close, the Ctrl+Alt+V global shortcut to show or hide, and optional launch at startup
• Persistent login: a separate persistent partition keeps your QR-code login for a long time
• Optional VIP parsing: injects a crown button into the player toolbar that swaps in a public third-party parsing site, and can be turned off at any time

Quick Start

1. Download TXVideo-Setup-*.exe or TXVideo-Portable-*.exe from Releases
2. Install or run the program and sign in to Tencent Video by QR code
3. Search and play videos; use the window buttons and shortcuts as usual on desktop
4. Use Ctrl+Alt+V to show or hide the window; closing it minimizes to the tray by default
