HyperOnlineVideo

Project Overview

Hyper Online Video is a native Android player built on libmpv for playback and yt-dlp for downloads, with Linux and macOS desktop versions as well. It aggregates YouTube, Bilibili, NetEase Cloud Music, and QQ Music into a single app supporting online viewing, offline saving, background listening, and queue playback. All three platforms share one config set, so settings, queue, favorites, and login cookies carry across devices.

Four platforms in one app, ad-free and downloadable.

Key Features

• Two-platform video: aggregated search for YouTube and Bilibili with a cover waterfall
• Ad-free playback: plays only CDN direct links, bypassing official player pages
• Quality switching: switch quality and speed while keeping playback position
• Music playback: search, play, and download on NetEase Cloud and QQ Music
• Lossless quality: stream according to membership rights after login and switch quality in real time
• Play queue: sequential, single-loop, and shuffle, mixing video and music
• Download manager: concurrent queue, batch downloads, and Wi-Fi-only downloads
• Local library: sorting, search, and rename with matching subtitle linking
• Background and PiP: background playback and system-level picture-in-picture

Target Audience

• Users who want video and music in one app
• Commuters who need offline downloads
• Desktop users on Linux or macOS

Quick Start

1. On Android download the APK from Releases; on desktop install via your distro's commands
2. Open the app and search YouTube or Bilibili from the search page
3. Tap a result to play, controllable from the notification and lock screen
4. Log in to the music platforms before switching to lossless quality

Core Advantages

• One app, many uses: video, music, and local files managed together
• Shared config across platforms: queue, favorites, and login state reused across devices
• Wide distribution: mainstream Linux distros all have installable sources

System Requirements

Item	Requirement
OS	Android, Linux, macOS
Android version	Android 15 (API 35) or later
Desktop dependencies	libmpv, yt-dlp, and ffmpeg
