README
Project Overview
EasyCopy is a third-party Copy Manga client built with Flutter, supporting both Android and Windows. It extracts site data through a background WebView and renders it with a native interface, keeping the data source extensible while delivering a smooth native experience. It covers reading, discovery, caching, and networking, and the desktop build adds a responsive layout and global shortcuts.
Read manga in a native interface while a web view fetches the data behind the scenes.
Key Features
- Reading: vertical and horizontal paging, pinch-to-zoom, progress memory, and volume-key page turning
- Discovery: category filters, rankings, global search, and local bookshelf management
- Cache: offline downloads, resumable transfers, and cache directory migration
- Networking: automatic node probing and switching, with both native and web login options
- Appearance: several built-in themes, system-following light/dark mode, and Material You
- Desktop support: a responsive layout, global shortcuts, and immersive fullscreen on Windows
Target Audience
- Readers who follow manga on both phone and PC
- Users who need offline cached manga
- Users who prefer dark themes and custom appearance
Quick Start
- Download from Releases: pick the
arm64-v8aAPK on Android, or the portable ZIP on Windows - Open the app and sign in to the manga site natively or via the web page
- Use categories or rankings on the discovery page to find a title, then open it and start reading
- For offline reading, enable download on the title's detail page to cache it locally
- Adjust theme, reading direction, and page-turning style in settings
Core Advantages
- Native feel: the web view fetches data while the native UI renders it, so paging and zooming stay responsive
- Extensible sources: the background WebView approach makes adding new sites straightforward
- Desktop-ready: the Windows build is not just scaled up; it gets its own layout and shortcuts
- Works offline: resumable transfers and cache migration keep reading available on unstable networks
