WonderBox

Project Overview

WonderBox is a native macOS system toolkit written in Swift 6 and SwiftUI, supporting Apple Silicon and Intel. It works the other way around: memory optimization broadcasts kernel memory pressure so every running app trims its caches and compressed memory actually shrinks; deep cleanup goes straight to the places that fill tens of gigabytes, like package-manager and browser caches; and every number is labeled honestly, with lower bounds shown when estimates time out. Scans and diagnostic logs stay on-device.

Quick Start

1. Download the ZIP from the latest Release, unzip, and drag WonderBox.app to Applications
2. If Gatekeeper blocks the first launch, right-click the app and choose Open, or click Open Anyway in Privacy & Security
3. Monitoring, cleanup, and keep-awake work immediately with no configuration
4. Grant the helper installation when first using fan control or memory optimization

Core Advantages

• Honest numbers: lower bounds are marked when estimates time out, nothing changed is stated plainly, and every figure can be verified in Activity Monitor

Notes

• Not notarized: the ad-hoc signed build is blocked by Gatekeeper on first launch; right-click to open or clear the quarantine flag with xattr
• WeChat cleanup: WeChat and WeCom caches are separate opt-in categories; quit the apps first, and chat databases are never touched
• Manual updates: direct builds update by replacing the app manually; downloads verify size and SHA-256 before saving
