README

Project Overview

BaiduPCS-Rust is a third-party Baidu Netdisk client built with Rust and Vue 3, providing a web interface and efficient upload and download capabilities. Aimed at NAS and server use, it makes the most of membership bandwidth through multi-threaded concurrent downloads and resumable transfers, and combines automatic backup, share transfer, offline download and client-side encryption, deployable with a single Docker command.

A Baidu Netdisk client for NAS that uses your bandwidth and automation fully.

Key Features

  • Multi-account management: add, switch and remove accounts, with sessions and task queues fully isolated per account
  • Multi-threaded downloads: concurrent chunked downloads for one file, plus recursive folder downloads, batch downloads and resume
  • Download conflict policy: overwrite, skip or auto rename, for single files, folders and batch tasks
  • Upload and instant transfer: batch upload of files and folders with smart deduplication, auto rename or overwrite, and instant-transfer labels
  • Share link transfer: transfer Baidu Netdisk and enterprise share links, with extraction code verification and optional auto download afterwards
  • Share sync: subscribe to share links and compare snapshots on a schedule, syncing only changed files, isolated per account with include and exclude paths
  • Offline download: HTTP, magnet and ed2k links downloaded by the Netdisk servers, with smart polling of task progress
  • Automatic backup: two-way backup between local and cloud, backed by file system watching and periodic polling
  • Client-side encryption: AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption, with .dat hiding the real file type and automatic decryption on download
  • Web access authentication: optional password protection and TOTP two-factor authentication with recovery codes
  • Network proxy: HTTP and SOCKS5 proxies, proxy authentication, live speed tests and automatic fallback to a direct connection

Target Audience

  • Members who use Baidu Netdisk on a NAS
  • Users who need automated backup and sync
  • Users who want files encrypted before upload

Quick Start

  1. Install Docker and create the config, downloads, data, logs and wal folders
  2. Run the official image with those folders mounted, mapping container port 18888 to the host
  3. Visit http://localhost:18888 in a browser, where a login QR code appears
  4. Scan it with the Baidu Netdisk app and confirm the login there, keeping the app in the foreground
  5. After signing in, browse and download on the file page, and upload from the upload page
  6. To enable encryption, generate and export a key under the encryption options in system settings

Core Advantages

  • Faster: chunked multi-threading with link health management gets full membership bandwidth even on a NAS
  • Automated: share sync and automatic backup hand the repetitive moving work to the program
  • Safer data: optional client-side encryption keeps the key and mapping table in your hands
  • Easy to deploy: the official image and compose file work out of the box

System Requirements

Item Requirement
Deployment Docker or Docker Compose, or build from source
Platform Windows, Linux, macOS
Access Browser access, port 18888 by default

Notes

  • After enabling encryption, back up both the key file and the database file, or encrypted files cannot be decrypted
  • When scanning to sign in, the Baidu Netdisk app must stay open and in the foreground after confirming, or login may fail
  • This third-party client is unrelated to Baidu; follow the terms of service
  • Offline download and transfer depend on your account permissions and the platform's policies
