Project Overview
Pure Live TV is the TV edition of the pure_live project, focused on one thing: watching live streams comfortably on a TV with a remote. It aggregates 34 streaming platforms and supports custom IPTV sources, all without a touchscreen: the D-pad changes channels, OK opens the control bar, and a long press follows. The interface is built around the remote, where the control bar and side panels use an index-selection model so focus stays in your hands. It also offers multiple playback cores, adjustable danmaku, and phone-based remote control.
Watch live streams from many platforms on your TV, comfortably with a remote.
Key Features
- Platform aggregation: 34 streaming platforms browsable by platform and category, with the option to hide ones you rarely watch
- Custom IPTV sources: import M3U/M3U8 sources over the network or from local files, with subscriptions that auto-sync
- Remote-first: the whole UI is designed for D-pad operation; OK opens the control bar and a long press follows
- Multiple cores: switch among MPV, FVP, EXOPlayer, and IJKPlayer at any time
- Danmaku system: toggle, opacity, font size, speed, and display area controls, plus keyword and user blocking
- Follow groups: tag rooms and filter or pin them by tag
- Audio-only mode: switch to sound only without rendering video, handy before sleep
- Phone remote control: pair by QR code, then use a phone browser to control playback and manage blocks
- Data management: local backup and restore, LAN sync of follows and history, and in-app online updates
- Dynamic wallpaper: static and video wallpapers on the home page with fade transitions to avoid ghosting

Notes
- The app uses a fixed signature and can be upgraded in place; the first install needs unknown-source permission
- Older Android 5.0/6.0 boxes must use an older release, as newer versions no longer support them
- Watching Bilibili HD streams requires signing in under Settings; credentials stay on the device
- This is a non-profit open-source project and offers no VIP unlocking, video cracking, or hotlinking
- All stream content remains the property of its original platforms; this app only aggregates and plays it
