Project Overview

Biu Car is a Bilibili audio client for older Android head units, fully independent of the project's phone and desktop apps, which serve only as API and business-rule references. Tuned for low-spec head units, it presents a fixed landscape home, library, player page, and bottom mini player, playing DASH audio only and leaving out video, lyrics, and download management.

Let older head units play Bilibili audio too.

Key Features

  • QR login: log in via the TV interface QR code, then re-verify the account state
  • Followed feed: the home page shows uploads from chosen creators, sourced from follows or search
  • Search and add: name search uses the user search API, and a pure number is queried as a UID
  • Favorites: created and collected sections covering normal favorites and video collections
  • Playback history: saves both progress and a full audio cache, so cached history plays offline
  • Likes and library: like or unlike on the player page, with likes saved per specific part
  • Background playback: Media3 background audio with progress persistence and cache eviction
  • Secure storage: login credentials encrypted with Keystore
