README

Project Overview

This project is forked from nutstore/obsidian-nutstore-sync, thanks to the original project's excellent implementation. Compared to the original, this plugin removes the dependency on Jianguoyun-specific APIs, making it compatible with any WebDAV protocol server, including but not limited to: Jianguoyun, Nextcloud, ownCloud, Synology NAS, Alist, and other WebDAV services.

Key Features

  • Bidirectional sync: Two-way file sync between local and remote WebDAV server; auto-detects added, modified, and deleted files; intelligently handles file conflicts
  • Incremental sync: Transfers only changed files, greatly improving sync speed; supports efficient sync for large note libraries (thousands of files); file hash-based difference detection
  • Remote directory browser: Built-in visual directory selector; supports browsing and selecting sync directories on remote WebDAV servers
  • Conflict resolution strategies: Smart merge (character-level diff, auto-merges non-conflicting changes); Timestamp priority (latest modification time wins); Manual selection (keep local or remote version)
  • Performance optimization: Lenient sync mode (optimized for large repositories); Large file filtering (set file size limit); Concurrency control (limit simultaneous file operations)
  • Sync status tracking: Real-time sync progress; detailed operation logs; error prompts and diagnostic information
  • Cache mechanism: Remote file list cache to reduce repeated requests; manually clearable cache refresh
