Project Overview

Marchen Player is a local video danmaku player that automatically matches the right danmaku through the Dandanplay API once you drop in an anime video. Built with Electron, it ships as Web, macOS ARM64, and Windows x64 builds, giving users a consistent viewing experience on desktop or in the browser.

It lets local anime videos show danmaku while playing, just like an online site.

Quick Start

1. Download the client from Releases, or open the online demo
2. Drop in a local anime video file
3. Wait for the danmaku library to match automatically
4. Adjust danmaku styling or switch the matched library in settings
5. Import a local subtitle or danmaku file as needed
