LetRecovery

Project Overview

LetRecovery is a free for non-commercial use, source-available Windows system reinstallation tool. It is free to use and source-available under the PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 license, which is not an OSI-approved traditional open-source license and prohibits commercial use. Maintenance handover: the original author has entered high school, and daily maintenance will be taken over by hwyyds-skidder-team.

• System installation: Multi-format images (WIM / ESD / SWM / GHO / ISO, including Windows XP / 2003 i386), desktop & WinPE dual-end, BitLocker-encrypted drive reinstallation, unattended installation, UEFI / Legacy boot modes
• System backup: Full/incremental backup to WIM / ESD / SWM / GHO with custom naming and description
• Online download: System images/common software, Aria2 multi-thread acceleration, PE integrity and customization compatibility
• Advanced options: Format partitions, boot repair, driver export/import, registry injection, remove preinstalled UWP apps, OOBE bypass network, disable updates/Defender, WiFi configuration migration

Quick Start

1. Download the latest version from the Releases page
2. Ensure the normal system end is Windows 7–11 (64-bit), administrator privileges, at least 4GB available memory
3. Supports UEFI or Legacy BIOS boot
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
