Project Overview
dsh-hos-scrcpy is a HarmonyOS casting provider for DSH (DeepSeek Harness) that connects to HarmonyOS devices via hdc, letting DSH see the screen and perform taps, swipes, key presses, and text input. The UI, AI tools, device and focus handling, and routing all live in core; this package only handles how a given device connects, is operated, and produces a picture. It supports multiple concurrent devices, works on retail Huawei devices, and survives rotation without reconnecting, with video streamed directly over the sidecar WebSocket.
Bring HarmonyOS devices into DSH to see and operate them.
Key Features
- HarmonyOS casting: connect to a HarmonyOS device over hdc and show its screen
- Input actions: taps, swipes, key presses, and text input
- Multiple devices: cast several devices at once, each with its own session and tab
- Rotation follows: the picture follows rotation without reconnecting
- Pause and resume: auto-pause when switched away and instant picture when switched back
- Quality settings: separate scale and frame rate for wired and wireless
- AI actions: works with core to provide screenshot recognition, control listing, and clicking
- Three-state permissions: each permission set to forbid, confirm each time, or allow
- Free install/uninstall: the provider has no UI or AI; install the package for your platform as needed
Target Audience
- Users who need to operate HarmonyOS devices from DSH
- Developers who cast several devices at once
- People doing automated debugging on Huawei devices
Quick Start
- Install core and then this provider package in the DSH plugin panel
- Fully quit and reopen DSH for the change to take effect
- Enable developer mode and USB debugging on the device, or connect wirelessly
- Click the device's cast entry in the DSH menu to open its tab
- Adjust quality and AI permissions in the sidebar settings
Core Advantages
- Retail-device friendly: uses the system casting service path with no root or partition changes
- Stable picture: no reconnect or black screen on rotation, and low resource use while paused
- Clear separation: the provider handles only connection and picture, with UI and AI provided by core
System Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| DSH | desktop DeepSeek Harness |
| Java | Java 8 or later for the sidecar |
| hdc | shipped with DevEco Studio |
| HarmonyOS device | developer mode with USB debugging, or a wireless connection |
Notes
- Install both core and this provider; installing only the provider will not activate
- Scale and frame rate cannot be changed mid-connection; disconnect and reconnect instead
- After changing the host side, fully quit and reopen DSH
