README
Project Overview
VRC Bili Relay is a portable Windows utility: paste a link and it decides whether the media can be handed straight to VRChat; when it cannot, FFmpeg processes and pushes it to an external relay service. It handles Bilibili videos, parts, collections, and live rooms, and also accepts short links and shared text. The app only parses, transcodes, and pushes; it provides no cloud bandwidth, so a working relay configuration is required when a relay is needed.
Turn Bilibili links into addresses VRChat can play.
Key Features
- Many link types: Bilibili videos, parts, collections, live rooms,
b23.tvshort links, shared text, Watch Later links, and common public media URLs - Automatic routing: public, stable, compatible H.264/AAC media is returned directly; content needing transcoding goes through the FFmpeg relay
- Playback control: play and pause, common speeds, seeking, and part or collection switching
- Play behaviors: optionally pause at the end, loop a single item, or play continuously, with continuous mode advancing to the next part then the next collection entry
- Danmaku support: display, style settings, and burn-in, with settings and end-of-play behavior saved locally
- Account switching: switch between guest and a logged-in account; switching back to guest does not delete login info
- FFmpeg management: detects system FFmpeg and can download a managed build from settings when missing
- Secure storage: stream keys and Bilibili login info are saved locally and encrypted for the current Windows user
Target Audience
- Users who watch Bilibili videos in VRChat
- Users with VRCDN or a similar streaming service
- Players who want live video inside VRChat
Quick Start
- Download the Windows x64 portable package from Releases and extract it fully; do not move the main program alone or delete
relay-worker.exeor theassetsfolder - Run
VRC-Bili-Relay.exe, paste a link, and generate an address - Put the generated address into a VRChat player; relayed video holds on a standby screen and starts timing after you press play
- If the app asks for a relay, enter the server, key, and full playback address from your streaming service in settings
Core Advantages
- Portable: extract and run, with nothing written to the registry
- Automatic routing: direct when possible and relay only when transcoding is needed, removing manual judgment
- Stable addressing: seeking, part changes, and danmaku updates keep the same playback address
System Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows x64 |
| Distribution | portable, no install |
| External dependencies | system FFmpeg (a managed build can be downloaded); VRCDN or a similar service for relay |

Notes
- The current build is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher
- The app provides no cloud bandwidth; bring your own streaming service when a relay is needed
- In guest mode Bilibili provides at most 480P
