BIKA

Project Overview

BIKA is a third-party Bika (Pica Comic) manga client for Android, built with Jetpack Compose and the Material Design 3 guidelines, with Material You dynamic color support and extensive polish for browsing and reading. It combines account login, manga browsing, online reading, history and favorites, and offline download in one app, making it easier to follow manga on a phone.

It rebuilds Bika manga browsing and reading on a modern Android stack.

Key Features

• Account and user center: login, registration and password change, profile display with history, favorites, messages and comments, plus automatic daily check-in in the background
• Home browsing: featured recommendations, multi-dimensional rankings (daily / weekly / monthly / knight), recent updates, random titles and manga categories
• Online reader: smooth paging and gestures, cross-chapter continuous auto-scroll with 10 speed levels, adaptive dual-page on large or landscape screens, long-press floating magnifier and an eye-friendly dimming overlay
• Offline download: multi-threaded chapter download with resume, batch queuing, retry for failed chapters and download priority
• Search and status badges: keyword search, trending searches and history, with card badges for favorited, updated, finished and similar states
• In-app update and logs: built-in version check with in-app download, plus system log viewing and export in settings

Quick Start

1. Download: get the latest APK from the GitHub Releases page
2. Log in: open the app and log in or register with a Bika account
3. Start reading: browse recommendations, rankings or categories on the home page and open a manga detail
4. Download offline: pick chapters on the detail page to download, then read offline once finished
