Project Overview
Stapxs QQ Lite is an unofficial web QQ client compatible with the OneBot protocol, built with the Vue ecosystem in a separated front-end and back-end design. It needs a QQ Bot back end to provide messaging, after which you can send and receive messages in your browser. The UI is responsive and works in portrait orientation, with PWA support and automatic light/dark mode switching. Besides the web version, it offers an Electron client and can be built into Android and iOS apps via Capacitor. It is intended for learning and exchange only.
Connect your own QQ Bot back end from the browser and get a web-based QQ experience.
Key Features
- Messaging: rich message display, plus forward, reply, and recall
- Group features: group files, group notices, group settings (partially), and essence messages
- Content sending: images, saved stickers, and files
- Multiple forms: web version, Electron client, and Capacitor-based Android and iOS apps
- Responsive layout: an adaptive UI that also works on portrait screens
- Theme following: automatically follows the system light or dark mode
- PWA support: the web version can run as a PWA
- Multiple bot support: bots compatible with the OneBot 11 protocol can be tried
Target Audience
- Users who have deployed their own QQ Bot back end and want a web client
- Users who want to send and receive QQ messages in a browser or desktop app
- Users interested in the OneBot protocol and self-built clients
Quick Start
- Prepare a QQ Bot back end by choosing from the compatibility list and deploying it per its docs
- Visit the online version directly, or download the web build from Releases and host it on your own web server
- For a desktop experience, download the Electron client from Releases
- For mobile, build an Android or iOS app via Capacitor
- Open the client, enter the bot back-end address as prompted, and connect
- Once connected, send and receive messages and browse group files and notices
Core Advantages
- Separated front and back end: the front end handles the UI while your self-hosted bot back end provides messaging
- Many forms: web, desktop, and mobile coverage to pick from as needed
- Responsive UI: works in portrait orientation and follows light and dark modes automatically
- Protocol compatibility: bots compatible with the OneBot 11 protocol can be connected
System Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Runtime | A modern browser; the desktop version needs the Electron client |
| Back end | A QQ Bot back end compatible with OneBot |
| Mobile | Must be built yourself via Capacitor |
Notes
- This web app is for learning and exchange only; do not use it for other purposes
- Using QQ Bot services carries some risk that does not originate from this client; check the docs of the bot you use to assess it
- With other OneBot-compatible bots, differences in message body formats and API extensions may prevent fully normal use
- This project is not affiliated with Tencent QQ; copyright disputes can be negotiated via an issue
- When self-hosting, replace the default map API key, since the default key has usage limits
