PiliNara

Project Overview

PiliNara is a third-party Bilibili client modified from PiliPlus for personal use. It keeps all upstream features and adds many refinements to the interface and playback experience. It can import settings and data from PiliPlus and export back to it, and periodically syncs upstream updates. It targets Android, iOS, tablet, Windows and Linux.

Built on PiliPlus, with playback, danmaku, subtitles and filtering polished further.

Key Features

• In-app mini window: drag, double-tap to resize, portrait and landscape adaptation and an official-like control bar, remembering position and zoom level
• Dual subtitles and AI subtitles: show primary and secondary subtitles together with independent styling, plus AI subtitle analysis and chat
• Danmaku enhancements: merged danmaku grow with repeat count, block lists can be imported and exported, and the energy bar uses a Gaussian kernel algorithm
• Content filtering: recommendation, activity and comment streams filter by keyword, user, duration, view count and more
• Custom video CDN: choose CDN domains and regional nodes, with a speed test comparing latency
• Offline cache enhancements: all-videos and folder views, CC subtitle downloads and folder-order playback
• Custom font pool: app and danmaku fonts share one import pool, deduplicated by content hash
• System integration: SMTC on Windows and MPRIS on Linux for system media control

Quick Start

1. Download the Android package from Releases, or clone the code and build it yourself
2. On Arch Linux you can install from the community repo: sudo pacman -S pilinara
3. On first launch you can import settings and data from PiliPlus
4. Adjust playback, subtitle, danmaku and filter options as needed
