Project Overview
DeckCraft is an open-source presentation app from the ArtCraft community: a clean-room rebuild of the PowerPoint workflow in pure Rust, with themes, layouts, shapes, pictures, tables, charts, transitions and animations for building slides.
It opens and saves PowerPoint files, runs natively on macOS, Windows, Linux and FreeBSD, and in the browser via WebAssembly; every button doubles as a command that the CLI and AI agents can drive over MCP.
| Item | Value |

| Stack | Rust (clean-room rewrite) |
| Formats | PowerPoint (.pptx) read and write |

- Agent friendly: MCP lets AI tools operate decks directly
- Permissive licensing: dual MIT and Apache-2.0
