Project Overview
Airflow is a receiver that casts iPad / Mac screens wirelessly onto Windows PCs with sharp, low-latency video, shipping as a single exe that runs without Python, compilation, or manual dependencies. First launch auto-installs Apple Bonjour, after which iPad / Mac users pick iPad-Screen in Screen Mirroring. It picks the display mode by device: iPads get fullscreen mirroring while Macs get a 1:1 unstretched extended display, switchable anytime with F2. The receiver engine is UxPlay (GPL-3.0), the UI is PyQt6, and this project's code is MIT.
Turn the Windows desktop into an AirPlay target, mirroring iPads and extending Macs alike.

Key Features
- Device-adaptive display: fullscreen mirroring for iPads, 1:1 extended display for Macs, F2 to switch
- Borderless fullscreen topmost: the picture fills the screen, idle mice hide, and sleep is blocked while casting
- Video parameters: size, quality, frame rate, audio toggle, flip and rotation, auto-restarting the service on change
- Multi-monitor and tray: display picking, window position memory, tray icon, and close-to-tray
- Status badge: device name, resolution, frame rate, and connection duration always visible
- KVM sharing: bundled Deskflow lets one keyboard and mouse control both PC and Mac over port 24800

| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| F1 | Open settings |
| F2 | Toggle fullscreen mirroring / extended display |

- Open Screen Mirroring on the iPad / Mac and pick iPad-Screen
- Press F1 to tune quality, displays, and audio, F5 to apply
- If devices don't appear, confirm the same LAN and that the firewall allows uxplay
System Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows |
| Network | iPad/Mac and PC on one LAN, Bonjour auto-installed |
| Logs | %TEMP%/Airflow.log |
Notes
- KVM boundary: AirPlay itself carries no keyboard or mouse, sharing runs over a separate Deskflow channel
- Aspect ratio: fix distorted pictures by toggling mirroring/extended mode, or set the Mac's extended display to 1080p
- Component licensing: the Windows prebuilt UxPlay comes from yztshh/Uxplay-airplay, both GPL-3.0
