Overview
Cloud drives as comic libraries is the core idea of Venera-Plus: comic images stored on Baidu Netdisk, Quark, 115, 123 Cloud, OneDrive, Google Drive, and WebDAV load on demand, while local files cover image folders, CBZ / CB7 / ZIP / 7Z archives, PDF, and image-based EPUB. The project is maintained as a fork of venera-app/venera, currently at v3.1.3 under GPL-3.0, built with Flutter 3.41.4. Comic content and sources must be prepared by the user.
Local, cloud-drive, and source-extension reading in one reader.

Core Features
- Local reading: import image folders, CBZ / CB7 / ZIP / 7Z archives, PDF, and image-based EPUB
- Multiple reading modes: single page, double page, continuous scroll, and waterfall, with page turning, auto paging, brightness, and webtoon margin adjustments
- Cloud comic library: connect to six major drives or WebDAV to load images on demand; archives on drives must be extracted into image folders first
- Favorites and progress: manage favorites, reading history, and downloads; link Bangumi entries and sync progress, with metadata scraping for cloud comics
- Sync and backup: sync favorites, settings, and history across devices, or back up comic files separately
Getting Started
- Read local comics: open Library → Local Comics → Import, then pick a comic folder, archive, PDF, or EPUB
- Read cloud comics: add an account under Settings → Storage & Sync → Cloud Accounts, pick the directory in Online Library, then open the library from Discover
- Use comic sources: install your own extensions under Settings → Sources & Services → Manage Sources, then browse or search in Discover; the home page can pin frequently viewed favorites
Sync and Migration
Sync entry points live under Settings → Storage & Sync in three categories:
- App data sync: upload and restore settings, favorites, and history via cloud drives or WebDAV, excluding comic images; manual, real-time, and scheduled sync supported
- Comic archive backup: back up local comic files to cloud drives or WebDAV and download them back when needed
- App data import/export: manually export or import .venera backups to migrate favorites, history, and settings
To migrate from Venera, export .venera from the old version first, then import it in the new one; downloaded comic files must be moved separately. Sync restore overwrites local data with the full cloud backup instead of merging item by item; backups contain library config and account credentials, so use trusted storage.
Downloads and Docs
| Device | Package |
|---|---|
| Android | arm64 APK; use the universal build if unsure of the model |
| Windows | installer exe or portable zip that runs after extraction |

| iOS | ipa requires self-signing; macOS has no official package yet, build from the guide |
For issues, open a GitHub Issues report with system, app version, reproduction steps, and logs; broken comic sources should be reported to the source author. Documentation covers local comic import, multi-cloud setup, and app data sync.
