README

Project Overview

PiliOH is a HarmonyOS (OHOS) fork of PiliPlus, the Flutter-based Bilibili third-party client. It deeply adapts native players, picture-in-picture and background playback to HarmonyOS while inheriting PiliPlus's danmaku, caching, casting and community features, with changes more aggressive than upstream.

Bringing PiliPlus to HarmonyOS, natively.

Key Features

  • Native playback engines: three options — native OHOS player, HarmonyOS mpv player, and dual AVPlayer with audio/video track sync
  • PiP and background: native picture-in-picture, AVSession notification controls with cover art, and long-running background playback
  • Offline caching: local cache and playback, plus a remote cache repository that stores videos and danmaku on a server
  • DLNA casting: send video to big-screen devices on the local network
  • Rich danmaku: tap-to-hover danmaku with like, copy and report, advanced danmaku and member-colored danmaku
  • Community features: dynamic editing and posting, rich-text comments with emoji, private-message images, votes and SuperChat
  • Account management: multi-account support, follow groups, favorite folder sorting and watch-later categories
  • Backup and extras: WebDAV settings backup and restore, SponsorBlock, anime intro/outro skipping and AI original-voice translation

Target Audience

  • HarmonyOS phone and tablet users
  • Heavy users of Bilibili third-party clients
  • Viewers needing background playback and casting
  • Geeks trying native HarmonyOS capabilities
  • Followers of the PiliPlus ecosystem

Quick Start

  1. Download the HAP package from Releases and install on your HarmonyOS device
  2. Sign in with your Bilibili account
  3. Enable background playback, danmaku and caching as needed

Core Advantages

  • Native HarmonyOS adaptation: deep integration with system abilities like PiP and AVSession
  • Complete feature inheritance: most PiliPlus playback and community capabilities carried over
  • More aggressive evolution: refactored toward HarmonyOS beyond the upstream project

System Requirements

Notes

  • The author states this is a personal interest project for learning and testing only, to be deleted within 24 hours of download
  • All APIs are collected from official sites; nothing is cracked
  • Derived from the pilipala and PiliPalaX upstreams; HarmonyOS adaptation is still evolving and some abilities depend on system versions
