MultiNovelDL

Project Overview

MultiNovelDL is a multi-source novel downloader for Linux that aggregates the Morax novel site and Fanqie, downloading whole books as TXT, EPUB, or PDF files. It is built solely on the Python standard library with no third-party packages and no need for curl or wget, so it runs as soon as Python is installed. It offers both a command line and an interactive entry point, and passes credentials via environment variables without writing them to disk.

Quick Start

1. Extract the Release package or use the source directly, and run python3 noveldl.py --help for usage
2. Run python3 noveldl.py info to view book details
3. With the environment variables set, run MORAX_USER=user MORAX_PASSWORD=pass python3 noveldl.py download --format epub
4. Use -o directory to choose the output location; the default is ~/novels/
5. Run python3 noveldl.py tui for interactive mode

• The Morax search API is occasionally under maintenance; download directly with a Fanqie bookId or link
• Fanqie web search renders asynchronously; copy a link or use a known bookId
