Project Overview

TachiyomiX is an Android manga reader forked from TachiyomiSY, inheriting the upstream online reading, downloads, bookshelf, tracking, and backup, and extending around two ideas: turning your own server into a read-write source, and adding local AI super-resolution and spatial scenes to the reader. It treats a folder on a WebDAV or FTP server as a manga library you can browse and read like a normal source, and can send downloaded chapters back to the server.

• Spatial depth scenes: single-page depth estimation plus gyroscope parallax turns flat manga into a 3D scene

• Built-in proxy: loads a proxy core in-app with subscriptions, node selection, and latency tests
• App disguise: switch the launcher icon and name to Calculator, Notes, or Study
• Aliyun Drive sync: scan to sign in and back up library data to Aliyun Drive
• Reading experience: six reading modes, a custom nine-grid tap layout, and several tap navigations

Quick Start

1. Download the APK for your architecture from Releases and install it; Android 8.0 or later is required
2. Add sources or import an extension repository in settings to read online and follow updates
3. For your own library, enter a WebDAV or FTP address in network sources and test the connection
4. For AI super-resolution, install the corresponding model pack APK, then enable enhancement in the reader
5. Enable the built-in proxy, app disguise, and cloud sync in settings

Notes

• AI super-resolution depends on large native libraries and model files; low-end devices are limited
• Spatial scenes currently support single-page paged reading only and require capable hardware
• A network source chapter must be an image directory; archive formats are not supported
• The app has no built-in updater, so follow new versions yourself
