Project Overview

Moyu Tool is an Electron desktop app that keeps an always-on-top window disguised as an ad popup in the bottom-right corner, bundling a multi-tab browser and a novel reader. It is still under development.

Key Features

• Disguised ad popup: pinned bottom-right and always on top, with 4 switchable ad styles (news feed / game ad / congrats win / system notice); the fake close button only hides to tray
• Drag and drop: drop a URL to open it in the built-in multi-tab browser, drop a .txt / .epub / .mobi novel into the reader with automatic GBK / UTF-8 detection
• Novel reader: page-turn and scroll modes, customizable typography, four themes plus custom text color, bookmarks, full-text search, and progress jumping
• Online book sources: search the store and add books to the shelf, fetch chapters on demand with local cache, and manage JSON (CSS selector) source rules
• Multi-tab browser: independent login state per tab, auto mute when switching away, automatic page zoom to fit the window
• Boss key: Ctrl+Shift+Z hides to tray, Ctrl+Shift+X toggles disguise and content, all hotkeys customizable
• Hover reveal and transparent background mode, toggleable in settings
• Session restore: restores tabs, reading position, and window size after restart

Quick Start

1. Run npm install to install dependencies
2. Run npm start for development, or npm run dist to package a portable exe
3. Drag in a URL or a novel file to get started
4. Use Ctrl+Shift+Z to hide, Ctrl+Shift+X to toggle disguise, Ctrl+Shift+T for transparent mode
