README
Project Overview
BiliMusic is a native HarmonyOS third-party music player for Bilibili. It turns Bilibili tracks, collections, music-center charts, and uploader posts into a pure listening app, fetching audio anonymously with buvid — so there is no login, no data collection or upload, and your playlists, downloads, and history stay on your phone.
A no-login Bilibili music app that keeps your data local.
Key Features
- Search and discovery: search, recommendations, charts, and the music center, covering tracks, collections, videos, and uploaders
- Playlists and library: favorite tracks and save a collection as a playlist, with self-built playlists supporting add/remove and soft-delete
- Download management: quality tiers from 64K to Hi-Res, a serial download queue, live speed, and resume support
- Playback: immersive color-picked backgrounds, swipable cover and lyric pages, vinyl rotation, and breathing animation
- Playback control: playback queue with sequential, single, list-loop, and shuffle modes, plus background playback
- Multi-part handling: multi-part videos expand automatically into separate tracks
- Interface: a system immersive-material floating capsule bottom bar merging player and tabs
- Settings: sleep timer, Wi-Fi-only download, and cache cleanup
Target Audience
- Bilibili users on HarmonyOS NEXT phones
- People who want to use Bilibili audio as a music player
- Privacy-minded users who avoid logging in
- Users managing downloaded tracks locally

Core Advantages
- Usable without login: anonymous buvid access needs no account or membership
- Privacy friendly: no data collected or uploaded; playlists and history stay on device
- Transparent quality: gracefully degrades by the actual upload tier, showing measured bitrate rather than the tier label
- Reliable downloads: resume support, batch pause, and Wi-Fi-only downloads
System Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| OS | HarmonyOS NEXT 7 (API 26) phones |
| Tooling | DevEco Studio and the HarmonyOS SDK |
| Permissions | Network, network info, and background long-running task |
Notes
- The app is unrelated to Bilibili official; audio copyright belongs to the original creators, so do not use it commercially
- Because it does not log in, features requiring an account such as membership and favorites sync are unavailable
- Pause and resume work within a session; after a process restart the download queue must be retriggered
- Installing on a device requires configuring your own signing; command-line builds are unsigned
