Project Overview
MCLauncher Hook (WPFLauncher_Hook) is an enhancement tool for the NetEase Minecraft Java launcher that extends it by replacing the core DLL in the launcher directory. It bypasses the Fever platform, hides launcher ads, skips tedious steps and lets 32-bit PCs start the launcher, while also adding a config panel, account management, multiplayer-lobby helpers, console logs and developer interfaces. The project is released under GPL-3.0 and is intended for learning and exchange.
A DLL-based enhancement and replacement tool that makes the NetEase Minecraft launcher nicer to use
Key Features
- Fever platform bypass: Reduces launcher-inside-launcher layers, lowers memory and disk use, and supports 32-bit PCs
- Console output: Shows NetEase logs, event information and Sauth (cookie) details
- Config templates: Saves and imports config templates and can auto-apply the last configuration
- Account management: Supports 4399, Sauth, phone number and NetEase email login with a graphical multi-account manager
- Multiplayer lobby: Provides room info viewing, save reminders on exit, custom passwords and a web room manager
- Bedrock support: Lets you pick different Bedrock builds and bypasses Bedrock file checks
- Anti-cheat handling: Blocks window-title and DLL-injection detection and randomizes MAC and disk identifiers
- Developer interfaces: Offers HTTP and WebSocket servers with API documentation for plugins and extensions
- Multi-open and optimization: Allows multiple launcher instances and optimizes memory before launch
Target Audience
- NetEase Minecraft players: who want faster starts, lower resource use and fewer distractions
- Plugin developers: who need HTTP/WebSocket interfaces to extend launcher features
- Enthusiasts: who are curious about launcher behavior and game networking
Quick Start
- Make sure your system supports .NET Framework 4.8.1
- Download the NetEase Minecraft launcher from Releases and complete installation and updating
- Download the matching Mcl.Core.dll from Releases
- Drag Mcl.Core.dll into the NetEase Minecraft launcher directory and replace the existing file
- Restart the launcher to see the enhanced interface and features; a bundled installer that already contains everything can also be used
Core Advantages
- Lighter startup: Bypassing the redundant platform lowers overhead so older PCs keep up
- Shorter path: The bundled installer makes install-and-replace a one-step job
- Reusable config: Templates and auto-apply cut down repeated setup
- Extensible: Open interfaces make it easy to add your own features
