Project Overview

LX Music Mobile is essentially the mobile extension of its desktop sibling: an Android music player written in React Native, and this repository is a custom build reconstructed from the original v1.9.1. The stack is React Native with Redux, supporting Android 5 and above, with no iOS or HarmonyOS NEXT plans for now. Playback links come from custom sources configured in settings; the app itself bundles no music source.

Playlists and the player live on your device; the sound comes from sources you configure.

Key Features

  • Local playlist management: my lists, favorites and play queue stay on-device, with a customizable interface
  • Custom sources: import third-party source scripts in settings; the app hands song info to the source in exchange for playback links
  • Multi-device sync: self-deploy the official sync service (lx-music-sync-server) to keep playlists in step across mobile and desktop
  • Playback controls: the usual play, queue and interface customization, matching the original
  • For advanced users: defaults are deliberately not beginner-friendly; browsing the settings and playlist-mechanism docs first is recommended

Install and Use

  1. Download the APK for your architecture from Releases and install
  2. On first use, import a custom source in settings and tune preferences
  3. For multi-device sync, self-deploy the sync service and enter its address in settings

Notes

  • No bundled sources: the app itself cannot fetch audio; playback content and availability depend entirely on your configured custom sources
  • Original channel: the original release channel is GitHub Releases only; other channels are third-party reposts
  • Desktop is separate: the desktop edition lives in another repository (lx-music-desktop); the two sync through the sync service
