README
Project Overview
Yuedu T is an enhanced branch of Legado that keeps the original reading experience while extending it with scheduled tasks, JS book sources, and a built-in MCP service. It upgrades the interface to Material Design 3, rebuilds the detail, audio, bookshelf, and reader menu screens, and strengthens listening, sharing, backup, and debugging tools.
Book-source customization, automation, and desktop-grade tools in one reader.
Key Features
- JS book sources: a single script provides search, chapter list, and content functions, with a matching code editor
- Scheduled tasks: cron expressions drive script execution, supporting catalog refresh and notifications
- Built-in MCP service: authenticated tool endpoints let an AI assistant manage sources directly in the app
- Login UI: dynamic multi-step forms with state cycling, countdowns, and dropdowns
- Material Design 3: a refreshed interface with four rebuilt major screens
- Listening enhancements: media session with episode switching, intro and outro skipping, and audio caching
- Highlights: selection highlights and highlight rules with several background shapes and glow effects
- Code sharing: generate text codes for sources, subscriptions, replacement rules, and more
- Request logs: view full request and response details for debugging sources
