Project Overview

RedGuo is an LSPosed/Xposed UI enhancement module for the Hongguo free short-drama app (package com.phoenix.read) that only personalizes the display layer without touching paid or copyright mechanisms. It supports hiding the status bar, layering component opacity, toggling component visibility, custom hide lists, hiding the bottom tab and navigation bars, adjusting quality and speed, and taking over gestures.

Key Features

• Status bar: hide the system status bar, with its background following the scene, pure black or pure white
• Layered opacity: a global factor multiplied by per-item opacity, applied instantly
• Component visibility: eleven built-in component toggles covering the nav bar, interaction bar, episode strip and hot comments on the home and player screens
• Custom hide list: scan the current page to list hideable components automatically, or add rules manually by class name, text or resource id
• Bottom tab bar: hide tabs by their text, with the remaining tabs spreading to fill the row
• Navigation bar hiding: hides the system navigation bar throughout the app, restoring it only when leaving the app
• Quality and speed: highest quality by default, with continuous 1.0-4.0x speed and temporary speed-up by long-pressing the edge
• Gesture takeover: remap double or triple taps to actions such as opening the comments

Quick Start

1. The device must be rooted with LSPosed or a compatible Xposed framework installed
2. Install the RedGuo module and enable it, scoping it to the Hongguo short-drama app
3. Restart the Hongguo app; the module panel includes full instructions and a disclaimer
4. Toggle the status bar, component visibility, opacity and navigation bar options as needed in the module panel
