Project Overview
X Minecraft Launcher (XMCL) is an open-source Minecraft launcher built with Electron, featuring a modern user experience. It provides a disk-efficient way to manage all your mods and resources, and supports downloading Minecraft, Forge, Fabric, Quilt, OptiFine, and JVM from official or third-party mirrors.
Key Features
- Download & auto complete: Supports downloading Minecraft, Forge, Fabric, Quilt, OptiFine, and JVM from official or third-party mirrors
- Download Fast: Reuses sockets via HTTP/HTTPS agents and downloads files in parts concurrently
- Cross platform: Based on Electron, supports Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux
- Multi-Instancing: Create multiple instances to isolate different versions, mods, and launch settings
- Manage all resources: Use hard/symbolic links to install resources in instances, keeping disk usage optimal — no copies of mods everywhere
- Built-in support of CurseForge, Modrinth: Download resources inside the launcher
- Support import/export: CurseForge & Modrinth modpacks with compliance
- Support multiple account systems: Built-in Microsoft login and Mojang Yggdrasil API; also supports ely.by and littleskin.cn, and you can add third-party authentication servers
