README

Project Overview

AnniePlayer SVLX is a HiFi desktop music player for Windows 10/11. It combines an Electron UI, a standalone .NET 9 audio engine, FFmpeg decoding and a VST3 effects chain into one desktop audio system, with the UI and engine communicating over JSON-RPC and all real-time audio processing handled by the separate process. The player also deeply integrates the LX Music ecosystem, letting you search, play and download songs across five platforms, and offers three switchable UI themes.

A standalone audio engine that safeguards sound quality and stability, putting a local lossless library and online sources in one player.

Key Features

  • Standalone audio engine: the AnnieEngine process handles decoding, DSP and output, so a UI crash does not break the playback chain
  • Multiple outputs: supports WASAPI exclusive and shared, ASIO, plus DSD-to-PCM and DoP passthrough
  • Bit-perfect chain: bit-perfect passthrough is reached when DSP and resampling are off and the output format matches, with an expandable signal-chain view
  • DSP processing: a 15-band graphic EQ, an 8-band parametric EQ, a channel toolbox, loudness normalization and soft limiting
  • Local library: supports FLAC, APE, DSF, DFF, WAV, MP3 and more, with CUE sheet splitting and SACD ISO splitting
  • Lossless analysis: a weighted fusion of four methods judges real versus fake lossless and can export CSV and HTML reports
  • Online sources: deep integration with LX Music musicSdk covering Kugou, Kuwo, Migu, QQ and NetEase
  • Lyrics features: desktop lyrics, word-by-word karaoke, lyric offset tuning and online matching of lyrics and covers
  • UI themes: three themes, Apple Music, FB2K and Particle Stage, switchable at any time
  • Effects and visuals: a VST3 effects chain, a Three.js particle stage and live spectrum

Target Audience

  • HiFi music lovers who pursue sound quality and Bit-perfect output
  • Users with large local libraries of lossless, DSD and CUE resources
  • Users who want a local library and online sources in a single player

Quick Start

  1. Download and install the annie-player-svlx-setup package from the Releases page; all runtime libraries are bundled
  2. On first launch, add a music folder (sidebar + or Add music folder in the Apple Music UI) to scan the library
  3. In Settings, Audio Output, pick the output mode (WASAPI or ASIO) and device, and adjust the audio buffer as needed
  4. In Settings, General, switch the UI theme and accent color
  5. Use the streaming panel in the left sidebar to import an LX Music source script and search and play online songs
  6. Tune sound and visuals through the bottom-bar EQ flyout and the visualization panel

Core Advantages

  • Verifiable sound quality: the signal-chain view shows real parameters stage by stage and makes the bit-perfect state obvious
  • Stable and uninterrupted: the engine and UI are decoupled, so a renderer crash does not stop playback and the engine can restart independently
  • Unified ecosystem: the local library, online sources, lyrics and visuals share one library and play queue
  • Built for large libraries: scanning, sorting and searching are optimized for libraries in the hundreds of thousands

System Requirements

Item Requirement
OS Windows 10 / 11 64-bit
Architecture x64
Runtime The installer bundles all runtime libraries, so no separate .NET, VLC or other dependencies are needed

Notes

  • The installer is not code-signed, so on a SmartScreen prompt choose More info then Run anyway
  • Reinstalling or upgrading will not lose your library, playlists or settings, which are stored under %APPDATA%
  • Online source parsing is for learning and exchange only; follow each music platform's terms of service, and third-party source scripts are the responsibility of their authors
