Project Overview
AinanPlayer is a video aggregation and playback client for Windows 10/11, wrapping TVBox crawler sources, Emby/Jellyfin/Plex media libraries, 4K cloud-drive playback, and IPTV live TV in a native WinUI 3 interface. Its playback kernel is mpv-based with a bundled portable hardware-accelerated engine, ready to play 4K HDR content right after installation. Note: this repository only provides packages and release information, without application source code.

One client covering crawler sources, self-hosted libraries, cloud-drive originals, and live TV.
Key Features
- Aggregated search: concurrent async search across crawler sources with multi-level category filters
- Media server integration: native Emby, Jellyfin, and Plex support with resume, two-way progress sync, and direct-stream playback
- Universal crawler architecture: compatible with the 9988 cat source, 2333 dou source, and the 9980 unified gateway, auto-recognizing
.js.md5, Base64-encrypted subscriptions, and standard TVBox JSON repositories - 4K hardware acceleration: built-in Yaozhi-MPV kernel supporting HEVC/H.265, Dolby Vision, and 60/120FPS decoding, with optional external
mpv.exeinheriting your shaders and Lua scripts - Cloud-drive console: scan-to-authorize Quark, UC, Aliyun, Baidu, and 115 accounts in-app, auto-retransferring for high-speed direct links when playing 4K resources
- IPTV live TV: import online M3U/TXT subscriptions or local lists, auto-categorized by CCTV, satellite, and local channels, with real-time EPG
- Stream probe: detects resolution, video/audio codecs, latency, and multi-bitrate tracks, showing 4K / HDR / Dolby Atmos badges on the playback page
- Personalization: Mica/Acrylic materials, instant light/dark theme switching, and 4 hot-swappable app icon styles
Interface and Playback Kernel
- The main window hosts Home, Live, Search, and Settings; the top navigation pill uses frosted-glass material, and detail-page backgrounds extend edge to edge
- Under Settings → Playback kernel settings, enable external MPV, browse to a local
mpv.exe, and verify with Test launch player - The external kernel fully inherits your
mpv.conf, Anime4K/FSRCNNX shaders, and Lua plugins, controlled by a single global switch - Server icons support importing Quantumult X / Loon icon subscriptions with searchable, visual icon picking
Target Audience
- Users watching movies and series via TVBox subscription sources
- NAS owners running Emby/Jellyfin/Plex libraries
- People storing films on cloud drives who want direct 4K playback
- TV viewers who need IPTV channels and EPG guides

Notes
- Distribution form: the repository only provides packages and release information, without application source code
- Content sources: the app itself provides and stores no media; subscription sources and cloud-drive links are configured by the user
- Version branches: a beta preview (v4.8.0) is available through the official site; stick to the stable build for daily use
- Playback kernel: both built-in and external kernels belong to the mpv-Yaozhi ecosystem, and configs may not be portable to other mpv branches
