Project Overview

fqapp is a Tomato content aggregation client for Android phones, combining novel reading, short-drama and comic-drama playback, audiobooks, comics, search, history, and offline caching in a single app. Core logic such as signing, decryption, and caching runs on the phone, with no self-hosted server and no root required. Content is fetched live from upstream public interfaces, and the app bundles no resources of its own.

• Novel reading: illustrated text, paged or scrolling layouts, typography and font import, paragraph comments, and offline caching
• Short dramas and comic dramas: auto-play, speed control, episode switching, seeking, orientation that follows the video, and resume playback
• Comic reading: vertical continuous reading, chapter lists, single-image retry, and reading-position restore
• Audiobooks: smart narration and human reading, read-along subtitles, sleep timers, and auto next chapter
• Search and discovery: keyword or work-ID search, suggestions, rankings, and reviews
• History and bookshelf: automatic progress records and offline cache management
• Downloads and offline: one-tap full caching or batch caching of later chapters, with downloaded content exempt from auto-cleanup

Quick Start

1. Download fqapp-<version>-arm64.apk from the release page
2. Install the APK, keep the network on for the first launch, and wait for initialization to finish
3. Browse recommendations on the home screen, or search for novels, short dramas, and comics
4. Open any content to read or play; progress is recorded automatically
5. For offline use, tap Download on the detail page to cache the whole work or later chapters

Notes

• Content comes from upstream public interfaces, so upstream changes or network issues may cause temporary failures
• The project bundles and distributes no content resources and is not affiliated with Tomato officially
• Clearing app data also clears reading history and caches
• Release-signed and debug-signed packages cannot overwrite each other
• Currently only Android arm64 devices are supported; there is no iOS version
