Project Overview
yanhuoTV is an aggregated player redesigned for Android TV and TV boxes, bringing together live CCTV and provincial satellite channels, TVBox video subscriptions, and the ddys (low-end video) waterfall feed. Its interface is rebuilt around remote-control logic and big-screen viewing, so the directional keys move smoothly between sections, grids, and playback. The project only handles the player and interface aggregation and neither stores nor distributes any video resources; live sources and subscription endpoints all come from third-party public APIs.
A big-screen aggregated player you can drive entirely with a remote.
Key Features
- Live TV: 552 built-in CCTV, satellite, and local channels with grouped switching and automatic backup-source merging for duplicate names
- Video aggregation: aggregate movies, series, anime, and variety shows through TVBox subscriptions with multi-site search
- Waterfall feed: connect to the official ddys API for a waterfall layout, categories, search, and line/episode selection
- Remote controls: use
up/downto change channels andleft/rightto adjust volume during playback, with graded back navigation - Phone debugging: scan a QR code to open a web page on your phone and edit endpoints, domains, and live sources
- Interface details: a splash animation, a custom focus system, and an on-screen TV keyboard
- Auto update: check for and download new versions inside the app
Target Audience
