Project Overview

Redguo Jian / Zhenguo Jian is a multi-platform short-drama app built with Flutter. Source requests, parsing, downloads and playback all happen locally on the device, without relying on remote self-hosted services or third-party relays. The native core is written in Go and accessed via FFI, the player is built on media_kit / libmpv, and merging and export use FFmpegKit. The project ships in two variants: the default build produces "Redguo Jian" with only the Hongguo source, while building with the all-sources option produces "Zhenguo Jian" with every source enabled.

• LAN interconnect: mDNS auto-discovery, direct HTTPS, incremental sync of following and progress, and push resume
• Image enhancement: RAVU, anime CNN, FSRCNNX upscaling and physical output size fitting on Windows desktop

Quick Start

1. Download the package for your platform from the build artifacts or Releases
2. On Android, install the APK and grant storage permission
3. Find a drama in the category catalog or search and open its detail page to start playback
4. Create a local user and set an admin password to isolate following and download records
5. For offline viewing, pick episodes and quality on the detail page to add them to the download queue, then merge or export to Emby when finished

Notes

• Source limits: source availability, quality and regional restrictions depend on the source sites and network; the app does not bypass VIP or authorization limits
• Architecture match: INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS means the APK does not match the device architecture, so use the matching build
• macOS unsigned: the macOS build is unsigned and must have its quarantine attribute removed before the first launch
• Desktop-only enhancement: image enhancement is only enabled on Windows desktop, not on mobile or TV
