Project Overview

The Hongguo module is an Android Xposed/LSPosed module built on the libxposed API that improves the experience and immersion of the Hongguo short-drama app. Through its built-in settings panel, users freely toggle UI streamlining, playback and gesture, content and account, and experimental features. The module does not modify the target app package and only takes effect at runtime through hooks.

Clean up the Hongguo viewing UI and leave only the content.

Key Features

• Streamlined UI: hide the system status bar, top and bottom navigation, work info, and right-side interaction controls
• Hidden controls: hide episode controls, the video progress bar, and the gesture navigation pill
• Restore on pause: temporarily restore hidden controls while playback is paused
• Auto quality: automatically pick the highest quality the current video supports
• Speed memory: remember and customize the default playback speed from 0.75x to 3.0x
• Gesture tuning: remap double-tap to open comments, disable pull gestures, and intercept top-edge swipe-down
• Ad blocking: block ad layers, treasure boxes, and floating widgets
• Quick controls: notification shortcuts for the master switch, config panel, and app restart
• Download limits: customize daily episode, daily show, and total cache limits
• Burn-in guard: intercept the OLED brightness anti-burn-in mechanism

Quick Start

1. Install the Xposed or LSPosed framework on your device
2. Download and install the module APK from Releases
3. Enable the module in the framework and select Hongguo as its scope
4. Restart the target app and toggle features in the module settings panel
