Project Overview

TTV Short Drama is a Windows-only desktop player for short dramas, animated dramas and anime. It uses a borderless window with a Windows 11 Mica glass look, and its playback core is a <video> element inside WebView2. The project hosts no content; all episode data and video streams come from public third-party sites and interfaces.

Key Features

• Discover and search: short-drama and animated-drama channels with genre and audience filters, sort switching, and merged multi-source search
• Anime section: a dedicated data source and player, with categories from a real category table
• Player: a floating glass control island, episode drawer, binge countdown ring, quality and speed control, and fullscreen
• Picture-in-picture: hand the current episode to a separate always-on-top borderless window that can be dragged and resized from eight directions
• Resume playback: full-episode local caching for instant replay and switching, with automatic cache cleanup
• History and favorites: persisted in SQLite with grouping and filtering
• Update checks: fetch the latest installer from Releases, downloading and locating the file without auto-installing

Quick Start

1. Download and install the latest package from Releases
2. Open the app and pick the short-drama, animated-drama or anime channel on the discover page
3. Open an episode and use the episode drawer to switch between episodes
4. When multitasking, enable the picture-in-picture window to keep playing
