Project Overview

hongguoTV is an unofficial multi-platform short-drama client with Web, Windows desktop, and Android TV builds. Each platform bundles content fetching and playback handling; favorites, history, search, and preferences stay local, with optional two-way sync through a family-share service. All three platforms share one content engine (signing, decryption, and stream fetching) that runs in both Node and QuickJS hosts. Release artifacts work out of the box with no Node.js or runtime installation required.

Quick Start

1. Download the artifact for your platform from Releases: setup or portable for Windows, APK for TV, start script bundle for Web
2. Windows and TV builds run directly with no environment setup
3. To sync across devices, deploy the family-share server and enter the same address and family key everywhere
4. Ports auto-increment when taken and the actual port is logged, or set HG_PORT for a fixed one
