Overview

This is a development line that ships round by round: zhenguo-app is the main repository of the Hongguojian/Zhen Guo Jian Flutter multi-platform short-drama app (originally named Short Drama Library APP), with source requests, parsing, downloads, and playback all completed on-device. The README documents each round's fixes and verification (0.2.183+2196 is the current snapshot; latest stable v0.2.171) — from Go-core sampling re-checked by FFmpeg to synthetic-data regressions, all in the open.

Source protocols sink into the Go core; every fix ships with verification evidence.

Recent Engineering Highlights

• Resolution-aware HD selection: the Xiaopingguo source previously followed site-returned order; now the player plan stage reads video coding parameters in limited batches to detect H.264/HEVC resolution in MP4 and HLS/MPEG-TS (AES-128 HLS and MP4 tail metadata supported, SPS parsed via mediacommon/v2); max 4 concurrent, 6 seconds per round, 256KB per read, failures marked resolution-unknown instead of fabricating quality from route names
• Range header fix: on-device forwarding previously dropped Content-Range, Accept-Ranges, and ETag, so the player could not determine file length and resume conditions; headers now persist across both buffered and streaming paths
• Xiaopingguo and Miguo into the Go core: Xiaopingguo uses binary Protobuf requests with RSA/AES/RRSP signing and decryption; Miguo obtains session keys via handshake and challenge verification, re-handshaking once on expiry or 401
• Live-API comparison: after switching the Hongguo app catalog to full app-request signing, one from-scratch scan collected 3194 titles with 67/44/83 pages read for live-action, anime-style, and AI dramas

Sources and Features

• Source matrix: Zhen Guo Jian covers 35 sources including Hongguo, Huangdou, Juguo, Yeguo, Diguo, Xiaopingguo, Miguo, and the guo-family sites; green mode shows only approved regular sources
• Live TV: the Yangshi video adapter updated to YSP Live v9.5 with date-based schedules and catch-up playback; live is hidden in default Hongguojian until Shineyue is typed in About, shown by default in Zhen Guo Jian
• Danmaku: compatible with dandanplay APIs, multiple configurable sources with a default pick, folded into the round danmaku button menu
• Diagnostics: a unified redacted diagnostic model, viewable and copyable on phone/Windows, with length-limited QR summaries on Android TV (max 8 entries, 1800 bytes, no raw errors)
• Watchlists: want/watching/done/updated filters, with new seasons moving followed shows into updated; real progress recorded every 5 seconds, saved per user

Dual Packages and Compatibility Build

• Split package names: Hongguojian is com.duanju.duanju_app and Zhen Guo Jian is com.duanju.duanju_app.zhenguojian, with distinct release signatures so both coexist on one phone
• Android 6 edition: built only on official android6-prefixed tags, package com.duanju.duanju_app.android6, using older Flutter/Gradle and an API 23 native core; keeps online playback but drops downloads, local merging, and LAN discovery
• CI policy: ordinary commits produce only two Android builds and IPA test packages; Windows and the Android 6 edition build only on official tags, with GitHub Actions as the source of truth
• Verification discipline: development verification uses synthetic data with remote images disabled; Dart analysis runs clean, 192 Dart files format-checked, and Go dual-variant full tests plus 22 build-script checks are part of the loop
