README

Project Overview

TVS is a cross-platform aggregator player built with Flutter, covering Android TV, TV boxes, iOS, iPadOS and macOS. It uses a shell design: the app itself ships no content, channels or data sources and only becomes usable after the user imports a subscription and live sources. The app provides only parsing, aggregation and playback; whether content is available depends on the sources the user imports.

A cross-platform shell player with a built-in playback core and content supplied entirely by the user

Key Features

  • Subscription management: imports PeekPro subscriptions and switches which one is active
  • Crawler sources: runs a built-in local service that supports nodejs-type spider sites
  • Aggregated search: concurrent cross-site search with results shown in a unified list
  • VOD playback: media_kit (libmpv) playback for common formats and m3u8 streams, with intro/outro skipping and m3u8 ad filtering
  • Live playback: imports M3U, TXT or JSON live sources with channel grouping and logos
  • Remote control support: D-pad navigation and focus management for Android TV

Target Audience

  • TV users: people who want an aggregator player on Android TV or a TV box
  • Users with their own sources: those who have PeekPro subscriptions or live sources and need a general player
  • Multi-device users: users who want the same app on phone, tablet and Mac

Quick Start

  1. Download the build for your device architecture from the Releases page (APK, IPA or DMG)
  2. Install it on the device and open the app for the first time
  3. Go to the Subscription page and import a PeekPro-format subscription
  4. For live TV, import an M3U, TXT or JSON live source on the Live page

Core Advantages

  • Content autonomy: the app ties to no content source, so subscriptions and live sources can be swapped freely
  • Consistent cross-platform: one app covers TV, phone and desktop devices
  • Local storage: data stays on the device with no cloud account system, so private data never leaves it

System Requirements

Item Requirement
OS Android 7.0 or later, iOS, iPadOS, macOS
Architecture Android: arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64; macOS: Apple Silicon

Notes

  • The app contains no content or data sources; import a subscription before use
  • Subscriptions must be in PeekPro format; other formats are not guaranteed to work
  • The iOS build is a self-signed IPA that you must sign and sideload; on macOS allow it in Privacy & Security on first launch
  • Use the app only for personal study and in compliance with local laws
