Project Overview

Stellar Wallpaper is a Windows desktop client for ultra-HD wallpaper management and automatic rotation, built on the Fluent 2 visual language. It aggregates Bing's yearly 4K archive, Lorem Picsum photography and 15 curated 360 categories, supporting mixed-pool shuffling with smart de-duplication and scheduled auto-rotation, all in a light, good-looking package.

• Mixed shuffling: tick any combination of category pools; memory tracking plus a SQLite history database de-duplicate intelligently
• Scheduled rotation: intervals from one minute to a day with custom minutes, shown on a live countdown panel
• Native wallpaper setting: Win32 API with the registry, offering fill, fit, stretch, tile, center and span styles
• HD gallery: masonry grid, keyword search and paging, async thumbnail caching, large preview with metadata
• Favorites and history: local SQLite persistence, cross-page batch download with automatic skip of existing files
• Tray residency: tray menu for next/pause, a global hotkey to switch wallpapers, and balloon notifications

Quick Start

1. Download StellarWallpaper.exe from Releases and run it directly
2. Tick the category pools you like
3. Set a rotation interval, or press the hotkey to switch anytime
