Project Overview

Tommi is a transparent desktop Pomodoro timer for Windows and macOS, featuring a rounded clay-style tomato, soft lighting, and inertial time wheels. When time is up, little tomatoes fly from the widget's position across your desktop to remind you to take a break. The desktop app needs no network and includes no account login or telemetry, and the interface supports English and Simplified Chinese.

Key Features

• Time setting: set hours, minutes, and seconds at the center of the tomato by scrolling, dragging, or clicking adjacent numbers
• Inertial wheel: digits rotate along a curved wheel and settle on whole values after an inertial scroll, with detent sounds
• Start focus: double-click the green stem to start; the widget shrinks and stays semi-transparent on top while editing controls disappear
• Throwing reminder: on completion the tomato returns to reminder size and throws little tomatoes across the desktop with launch and landing sounds
• Tray menu: bring back the widget, check the remaining time, cancel focus, or quit
• Settings panel: 25/5/15-minute presets and switches for the completion chime, wheel clicks, and throw sounds
• Language switch: English and Simplified Chinese, optionally following the system and applying immediately

Quick Start

1. Download the Windows installer or portable ZIP from Releases
2. Run the installer wizard, or unzip the ZIP and run Tomato.exe
3. Set the hours, minutes, and seconds for your focus session at the center of the tomato
4. Double-click the green stem to start the timer
5. Drag or double-click the large tomato to stop the reminder, or press Esc

• The project reserves all rights and grants no open-source license by default
